Best sewing table for sewing retreats or sewing trip

Sewing at the Bach – My Perfect Little Getaway

Over the weekend, I packed up my sewing machine, a few favourite fabrics, and my SewEzi Portable Table, and headed to the bach for a much-needed sewing holiday.

There’s something so relaxing about sewing with the sound of the waves in the background — no deadlines, no rush, just stitching at my own pace.

The SewEzi really is the best sewing table for trips like this. It folds up neatly to fit in the car, and once unfolded, it feels just like my sewing setup at home. I love how the machine sits flush with the surface — so comfortable for long hours of sewing (and a little unpicking too!).

I spent the weekend piecing together a few quilt blocks, trying out new patterns, and simply enjoying the quiet time to create. There’s a special kind of joy that comes from sewing in a peaceful place — it reminds me why I love this hobby so much.

If you ever get the chance, take your sewing away for a weekend. A change of scenery (and the right table!) really does wonders for creativity.

Happy Sewing!
